The main causes of thrust roller bearing vibration are essential vibration and vibration caused by bearing manufacturing error and line position accuracy of shaft and seat hole.


1. The essential vibration of the bearing refers to the unique vibration caused by the elastic contact between the ferrule and the rolling element of the bearing without shape error. It includes:

b. Axial natural vibration of outer ring mass system

(3) Vibration caused by bearing spring characteristics: axial vibration, radial vibration, resonance of bearing seat, etc.


2. Vibration caused by bearing manufacturing error


The inner and outer race raceways and rolling element surfaces of thrust roller bearings have different wavy machining marks waviness along the circumferential direction, which is a very important factor causing bearing vibration, inducing noise and eccentric movement of the rotating axis, It also occurs when axial load is applied to other bearings except ball bearings. In addition, it also occurs when radial load is applied to bearings with many waves of raceway waviness.


3. The radial shape and position accuracy of the shaft and seat hole. The shape and position accuracy of the shaft and seat hole is poor. After the bearing is installed, the ring will be flexed and deformed. The low-frequency vibration caused by this is greater than that caused by the waviness of the rolling surface of the bearing. Improper operation during installation is also the reason affecting the bearing vibration.
